MoDE Foundation's Sip & Support will be located Tropical Liquers - downtown location in Columbia.
Enjoy appetizers and casual conversation while sipping fun, summer slush drinks. Meet families impacted by the work of MoDE Foundation and learn why your continued support is important. Take a quick dip at the Dip Jar or proudly boast that you double-dipped (gasp). All proceeds go directly towards MoDE Foundation's Legal Advocacy Fund and/or Law Clinic project.
What is MoDE Foundation's Legal Advocacy Fund?
MoDE Foundation's Special Education Legal Advocacy Fund provides grants to tackle systemic issues present in the current special education system in Missouri. Grants fund professional advocates and lawyers to assist families with these issues. Our first grant was awarded in August 2021 to assist a family with costs related to due process.

In addition to grants, the fund is used to assist with the training of advocates. MoDE Foundation is partnering with other disability organizations to develop a mentor advocacy program so no parent or guardian feels alone or unprepared for an IEP meeting.
